queXS 1.10.1 Released

queXS 1.10.1 has been released today on Sourceforge

This is a single bug fix release. The queXS 1.10.0 database installation script would fail on a fresh installation. Please use queXS 1.10.1 for new installations. It is not essential for users of 1.10.0 to upgrade, although translations have been updated

queXS 1.9.2 Released

An auto dialling feature has been added where you can specify for operators using VoIP to automatically dial the next available number after a period of delay. Thank you to m0rco for sponsoring this feature. Some bugs related to translations and respondent self completion have been resolved.

queXS 1.9.0 Released

queXS 1.9.0 has been released today on Sourceforge

A supervisor chat feature has been introduced which allows operators to chat with a supervisor within the queXS interface (while on a case). The chat is conducted over XMPP/Jabber so the supervisor can use a normal chat client / GMail chat and doesn't have to have the queXS site open in a web browser. The chat status / presence message includes the case the operator is currently on to make assisting the operator easier.

queXS 1.8.0 Released

queXS 1.8.0 has been released today on Sourceforge

New features include the ability to limit operators to view particular sample fields (available when importing a sample and also when managing existing samples). Also new is the "case status and assignment" function which allows for viewing of when cases will be available to operators, and the ability to assign the cases to particular operators for accessing right away (useful when managing very small samples, or near the end of a sample).

queXS 1.7.6 Released

queXS 1.7.6 has been released today on Sourceforge

queXS 1.7.6 has some major new features, and will be the last release in the 1.7.x branch. The next release is expected to be 1.8.0 which will require some database changes to handle new features.

queXS 1.7.5 Released

queXS 1.7.5 has been released today on Sourceforge

Some more bugs related to respondent self completion have been fixed including sending emails in UTF-8, text focusing and last complated page position resetting. Better description and error messages are provided when creating a new operator. Cases from questionnaires that have been disabled will not appear for interviewers and the message about no available cases will reflect this.

queXS 1.7.4 Released

queXS 1.7.4 has been released on Sourceforge

This release includes bug fixes for questionnaire self completion. Only auto advance in the questionnaire if an interviewer (not when self completing), and when emailing - respect the limesurvey email settings including SSL.
