queXS 1.6.0 has been released today on Sourceforge
queXS 1.6.0 includes a major update to Limesurvey 1.92. This includes the new Expression Manager feature which allows for complex conditions, tailoring and expressions. It is possible to integrate sample variables in Expression Manager conditions, tailoring and expressions therefore complex logic and item display can be achieved with a combination of sample variables and questionnaire variables. Also, the dependency on ADODB has been removed as it is included with Limesurvey.

Upgrading from queXS 1.5.x
- Browse to the queXS administration page
- Click on "Start and monitor system wide case sorting"
- Confirm that the sorting process is stopped
- Click on "Start and monitor VoIP"
- Confirm that the VoIP process is stopped
- IMPORTANT: Backup your database and files
- Rename the queXS 1.5.x directory
- Extract quexs-1.6.0 to a new directory on your web server
- Rename the new directory to the same as the existing installation was originally
- Copy the config.inc.local.php file from the queXS 1.5.x installation to this directory
- If you used .htaccess files, copy these to their respective directories also, for example: .htaccess admin/.htaccess client/.htaccess include/limesurvey/admin/.htaccess
- Browse to the queXS administration page
- Click on "Administer instruments with Limesurvey"
- A screen will appear saying "Please verify the following information before continuing with the database upgrade"
- Click on "Click here to continue"
